10th IMEKO Symposium Laser Metrology for Precision Measurement and Inspection in Industry, 12-13 September 2011 in Braunschweig (Germany)
We appreciate your participation in the International Symposium on Laser Metrology for Precision Measurement and Inspection in Industry 2011 in Braunschweig. The Symposium gathered scientists and engineers working in the field of laser metrology, provided a forum for discussion for exchanging points of view and experience and sharing research results through high quality peer reviewed papers.

The Symposium took place in the new conference center of Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt in Braunschweig. The total number of participants in the Symposium was 80. The participants represented 14 different countries.
The Best Paper Award was given to M. Michihata, Y.Takaya and T. Hayashi for the paper titled: “Damping Nature of Vibrated Surface-Sensing Probe Controlled by Optical Radiation Pressure”.
